Happy autumn, everyone! It’s still over a 100 degrees where I live, but I like to pretend it’s not.
A few updates for my debut novel, The Fey Hotel! The Fey Hotel has been handed off for its developmental editing process. Several beta readers are finished and some are still going. Thank you to everyone who provided feedback! I added over 5k words based on the commentary I received. Thank you for pointing out vague transitions and other things that needed to be tidied. I can’t wait for you guys to see the finished product!
Since I’m taking a break from The Fey Hotel while its being edited, I have started a new project that will be set in the same world as The Fey Hotel, but follows different characters and different myths. This will also be a standalone that can be read before or after The Fey Hotel.
Last, and most important! The cover has been finalized for The Fey Hotel. Rashed AlAroka did a wonderful, badass job on the character illustrations!
