About the Author
Vermilion H Baine is a gothic fantasy writer, a veteran, and a mother. She served as a nuclear electrician’s mate in the US Navy and now works in industrial fields. Inspired by her travels and by video games, Vermilion writes dark fantasy romance with humor to lighten the extreme stretches of gloom. She lives with two very codependent rescue dogs, her grumpy, can-fix-anything husband, and her Viking-sized sons.
Her favorite book series from her childhood is the Lioness Quartet by Tamora Pierce. Her favorite video game is Morrowind, though Dragon Age inspired her to start writing.
