Happy April, everyone! 2025 was a slooooow year for me, but I am so excited to announce that The Academy of the Dead, my standalone gothic and witchy romance, is getting a dual narrated audiobook! Set to release in October, let me introduce the narrators!
First, my friend Sara Brodt who has been a part of my journey since the beginning. She is so incredible as a narrator and performer, and she has been such a light and so encouraging of my writing. She is the founder of Infinite Audio and will be producing the audiobook as well as narrating Maddox’s chapters.
Narrating Atticus’s chapters (and Giles’s single chapter) is E.M. Wylde. I don’t know if he knows how gothically dramatic Atticus can be so I wish him luck, lol. Though, I think most of his lamenting and monologuing is in Maddox’s chapters (sorry, Sara!)

Some other exciting news, ebook preorders are open for Death and Her Bond (the first book in my gothic trilogy) and for The Mechanics of Broomstick Racing, my cozy and witchy novella. I cannot wait to reveal the cover of The Mechanics of Broomstick Racing. This is part of a multi-author series. We are all using the same cover artist, and they are all INCREDIBLE! This novella is part of the Pumpkin Hollow series. Pumpkin Hollow is a witchy town hidden in New England (think Halloweentown meets Stars Hollow!) Each novella is so unique and can be read as a standalone.

Death and Her Bond update…
I have been sick for weeks so don’t ask me about word count. Here, look at this art!!! DISTRACTION!

I LOVE Sleeping Beauty retellings. The crazier the spin, the better. And dragon shifters????? LOOK AT THIS BEAUTY!
A Dark and Sapphic Sleeping Beauty Retelling, A Spindle of Nightmares by Amber Bunch

The Lost: Memories—the window into our pasts and the architects of our identities, yet, for me, they are mists that refuse to settle.
When I awaken from a coma, I have no name, no past—only a hollow void where my life used to be. A part of me is missing, vanished like pages torn from a book, and I long for the day when the fragments of my past might flutter back to me, filling the emptiness that gnaws at my soul.
Part of me wants to stop searching, to accept that some things are meant to be lost, but dreams of a distant, fractured land haunt my nights, and whispers of a name I can’t remember linger in the quiet moments, stirring something deep within me.
Could these dreams be the key to who I once was—or am I forever doomed to chase a past that will always remain just out of reach?
The Broken: Our kingdoms are frozen in time, trapped in an endless loop. Without Aurora, Aveline will remain locked in this curse, our lives paused indefinitely.
In her absence, everything remains unchanged, and our world slowly stagnates. Her laughter, once a melody that filled the air, is now a fading memory—an echo residing only in the recesses of my mind.
The growing despair of loss is spreading like a toxin, and I find myself struggling against the inevitability of hopelessness.
But I can’t give up. I won’t.
Aurora is my heart, and I will stop at nothing to bring her back to me. I will find her, and together, we’ll see our world made whole once more.

I am so excited for this book to release in June! Look at the COVER! And it’s Tortall inspired?? SIGN ME UP! Actually, YOU can sign up for the ARC here!
TO DROWN AMONG THE STARS is an action/adventure, slow-burn romantasy featuring knights, pirates and semi-aquatic dragon people. It will appeal to fans of the Legend of Zelda, Tortall and Sabriel.
If you like romantic fantasy about fierce, feminine women and emotionally intelligent men who would go to the ends of the earth with them, this book is for you!

In an unprecedented turn of events, Bastion emerges from his Trial of Knighthood a failure.
Certain the gods have abandoned him, he travels down the coast on a leave of absence, looking for solitude. Instead, he walks into trouble in the wake of a series of pirate attacks on seaside villages, where he meets Ulla, a deaf dragon-kin healer with secrets of her own.
Despite their initial, disastrous meeting, they’re drawn together by their mutual loneliness. Then, they discover the attacks aren’t random – they’re coordinated. The pirates are planning a large-scale attack on Moonwatch, the kingdom’s naval base, with the intent of stealing an ancient secret.
Together, Bastion and Ulla race to Moonwatch only to learn the commander has been drawn away by the attacks. Unable to deny his duty or his very nature, Bastion takes command of their diminished forces in the face of a pirate fleet armed with a mysterious weapon.
When Ulla is wounded, the world comes crashing down on Bastion and he must reveal his darkest secret to save her, even though it may mean losing her, after all.

I have a new segment here, where I share beautiful and human made art from other authors. This is Kailunn from Shadow Dance by C. K. Andersson!
An anxious (and rather feisty) gamer gets pulled into a fantastical world just like her favourite MMORPG by a dark force. Think of this series as a character-driven modern Alice in Wonderland for adults meets Baldur’s Gate 3 and World of Warcraft, with found family, self-discovery, slow burn, seductive book boyfriends and a fade-to-black romantic subplot.
